My inspirations
These poems and quotes inspire me

Every so often, we all need a spark to brighten our day or to lead us out of a dark time.
Sometimes we want to share the joy and gratitude we are experiencing.
This page is a collection of those moments and inspirations for me.

Listen to your heart's whispers... Your heart is your true compass. But only if you allow it to express itself freely, and only if you listen to it. Sometimes it's barely audible, whispering its real feelings. Listen for these, the are often the most valuable.
"Alas, there is no instinct like the heart!"

"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
The leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."
Robert Frost
"Every morning we are born again.
What we do today is what matters most."
Gautama Buddha c563BC-483BC
Be the strength.
Don't look for strength elsewhere...
Be it yourself!
Be the rock on which you, and others, rely.
Realise your potential by rising to the occasion.
Don't fear failure.
Just making the effort will win you great respect.
"Freedom lies in being bold"
Robert Frost
Don't be too emotional!
Try to take out the emotion. View the situation dispassionately, for what it is.
Look for ways to ease the pressure. Set tasks, break them into manageable segments. That way your vision will be clearer.
